OpTic came back from a map down to beat Tricked 2-1 and progress to the grand final of DreamHack Open Summer.
The Danish derby started on Train, Tricked's map choice, with Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's charges getting to a 2-0 lead on the Terrorist side. Once OpTic had money in the bank, the landscape of the game changed dramatically and the CTs took control of proceedings, but Tricked showed improvements towards the end of the half to pick up a 9-6 lead.
The game entered a chaotic period after the break as force-buys were traded after the pistol round went Tricked's way. OpTic still tried to get back into the game but were held off by a stubborn Tricked defence, with HUNDEN's side locking down the map at 16-7.
OpTic entered Mirage looking a completely different side as they ran all over the Tricked defence during the first half, shutting down any chance of their opponents stringing rounds together.

After switching to the Terrorist side, Tricked still attempted a response, but the task to come back was beyond them as OpTic eventually put the game to bed in the 27th round to force a decider map.
OpTic carried their momentum into Nuke and raced to a 5-0 lead, but then they fell off the pace and let Tricked put together a string of rounds of their own. Many expected the rest of the half to be an even contest but it turned out to be a one-way street as OpTic set up a water-tight defence to take an 11-4 lead.
Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke opened up the action in the second half with three quick kills, kicking OpTic further into the team. The momentum swung in Tricked's favour once both teams had money to work with as HUNDEN's troops managed to chain seven rounds together, but a comeback was not to happen as OpTic kept their composure and eventually locked down the match with a 1v2 clutch by Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen.
