The Denmark national team have withdrawn from the European qualifier for The World Championships, captain Jacob "Pimp" Winneche has revealed.
Denmark were due to face the Netherlands later on Wednesday in the Round of 16 after finishing at the top of Group A, with four victories from five matches.
However, team captain Jacob "Pimp" Winneche has revealed that he is unable to put together a lineup to attend the offline finals, in Belgrade, next week, in case of qualification for the event. As a result, the dignitas player has withdrawn the team from the tournament.
Denmark won't play more in this years TWC. For the second year we fail to assemble a team to play the LAN finals should we qualify. 1/2

Last year, Denmark missed the ESEC Finals due to similar issues, being replaced by Poland, who would finish runners-up to France.
TWC organisers E-frag.net have not yet stated whether the Netherlands will get a free pass to the season finals or will have to face a different opponent coming from the group stage.
